PalmettoPride Curriculum CDROM

PalmettoPride had a challenge - how to present hundreds of pages of certified training materials to teachers and schools all over the state of South Carolina.

The Challenge
Their challenge was to go from simply supplying teachers with a large PDF document or Microsoft Word document to a fully interactive multimedia format.

PalmettoPride contracted with us to re-design their existing web site and to create a multimedia CDROM that would allow teachers to easily access the curriculum by age group and by category.

The Result
Using a combination of multimedia visual effects that complimented the new web site re-design and a navigation system that was very easy to use we create a multi-platform CDROM. We also designed the CDROM so that it can easily be ported for web deployment at a later date.

The interface is attractive with an animated scene of a brook with an animated butterfly. This visual immediately brands the importance of keeping our state clean from trash and debris. This design also cross-brands to their new web site.

Teachers can download a PDF or Microsoft Word version of each file and search be grade level or subject area. In addition, a wealth of information about PalmettoPride and their services is included on the CDROM. A collection of web links was also added for teachers that have internet access.

The CDROM is available in a PC and Macintosh version.
