18th Street Design is the creative work of Jay C. Wingard, a Columbia born multimedia artist and composer. Located in the historic Columbia Vista, 18th Street is focused on intelligent internet design with an unprecedented elegant style.

Founded in 1995, he uses tried and true internet and new media technologies and has founded the firm on the basic principle of treating customers fairly and speaking to them in plain language - not internet jargon. About the Founder/Creative Director
Jay Wingard is a professional graphics designer with over 25 years of experience in design and programming. Jay is also a musician with over 30 years of experience in music composition.

He served for many years as founder and director of i2Media, a progressive internet development group at the University of South Carolina and has experience in multi-faceted business practices from private sector companies to large state and government agencies. Jay is a Microsoft Certified Professional and is a member of American Society of Authors & Composers. His designs have been honored with several awards including the coveted international "American Design Award".
